I created this blog for my course blogging assignments at Full Sail University. I look forward to continuing my blog here and sharing with you my coursework and other fun ideas as I take my journey toward my Master's degree in Education, Media Design and Technology! All photos in this blog were captured by me and are under copyright.
Xtranormal is one of the tools I was thinking about looking at. This is a really interesting tool. I'm really curious about it and may explore it out of class. This is a different tool than any of the other tools I've been looking at.
Hi Hunter, I thought it was really neat. When I first created my account and started working, it was a bit twitchy to figure out how to do it, but it didn't take me long after just looking around and finding all the things I needed. I think anyone could learn this pretty quickly. ;-)
I am not surprised you chose the video featuring animal characters :-) You can do some pretty cool things with the free scenes and characters. Later if you feel it is worth while, you can use characters and settings that cost a little. The example videos on the site tend to be of this sort. People trying this should know they must get a free account if they want to publish their movie. We tried this out and kids were disappointed when those who hadn't set up an account couldn't finish the movie. They are easy to embed on a blog or web page or on Facebook, which most students really like.

ReplyDeleteHi Pat, you are right about that and I think I do mention that you have to sign up for an account first. Etc. I liked the program a lot ;-)
